St John Vianney Catholic Primary

The generous staff, parents and children of SJV banded together recently to take part in the annual Macmillan 'Word's Biggest Coffee Morning', which seeks to raise vital funds to support those that are battling this horrible disease. The sun shone on our efforts beautifully, and all managed a well-deserved mid-morning sugar rush. Before this, the children reflected impressively on WHY we raise for this charity in particular - their answers were humbling and showed a great deal of empathy and compassion to others. Well done all, and a special thank you to the Friends of SJV and all of the other parent helpers who contributed (and BAKED!) lots of lovely cakes.
