Ethos and Values
We are committed to promoting a clear ethos and a set of values by which we conduct ourselves.
The staff of St. John Vianney commit:
- To foster the development of the Catholic faith through the teaching of the Gospel values within a caring environment where each individual is valued and respected.
- To develop the gifts of all our pupils in order that they maximise their potential to achieve their highest standards.
- To provide pupils with a high quality, balanced education which meets their needs and requirements of the National Curriculum.
- To plan realistically and to manage the school's resources efficiently to ensure good value for money from the available funds.
Each pupil belongs to a ‘House’, each of which has its own distinct nature and set of ideals. Each pupil is encouraged to develop all of the behaviours, values and commitments inherent in our House System
“We Endeavour to make the best of our education; we Aspire to be the best we can be, working in Harmony, flowing in the footsteps of our patron, St. John Vianney.”
